Election process and voter participation

The total population of Canada is around 4.15 crore, of which about 2.89 crore are registered voters. During the initial voting, more than 7 million voters have exercised their franchise, which is 25% higher than the 2021 figures. This time the total seats of Parliament are 343, of which five new seats have been added to Ontario, BC and Alberta.
